After many, many months of not doing photography, I finally had the opportunity to take engagements for some of my dear friends. I have not had a camera to use since I graduated from BYU, so I had to turn down a lot of photo shoot opportunities. Luckily, one of my best friend's from New Orleans, Jessica, asked if I could take her engagement pictures with their brand new camera. I LOVED taking their pictures. We even had stylists/assistants on the set, Gessica and Gelena Stovall. It was such a great time. I love my New Orleans friends!

{General Conference}
In our church we have something called "General Conference" twice a year -- in April and October -- where the whole church world-wide gathers to listen to our Prophet and other church leaders. Each conference makes such a difference in my life and this time around was no exception. One of my favorite talks was one of Elder Uchtdorf's. (http://new.lds.org/general-conference/2010/10/of-things-that-matter-most?lang=eng) I am so grateful to be able to hear words from the living prophets.
"If life and its rushed pace and many stresses
have made it difficult for you to feel like rejoicing,
then perhaps now is a good time to
refocus on what matters most."

{Amber + Ben}
These lovebirds met in high school student council, hence we decided to take some pictures at some high school bleachers. This gorgeous couple was so easy to shoot and so adorable. Below you will find some pics of them in their student council sweaters. What a fun night (even though it started getting a little too dark a little too soon...) We ended the night at the Spanish Fork fountains. Congratulations you two : )

Eleanor's World
I'm visiting/helping my sister Sarah in Akron, Ohio (home of Lebron James I just found out), as she is about to have her 2nd child any day now. Eleanor is my niece and she is so adorable. She wakes up every morning and puts on pearls and brushes her hair. Me and Sarah wonder how she got so girly since we are not like that haha. Anyway, this picture was taken with my sister's Nikon camera, which I may say that I love Nikons now (Canons will always be my favorite however). Also, it is impossible to get her to look at the camera, but I found this one was kind of cool with her cute little lips. This picture may not convey it, but Eleanor is one of the happiest toddlers I know. We are really good buddies now.
I can't wait for my new niece Penelope Kate to come!
